Displayed at the Young Designers Fair, Interieur 2010 in Kortrijk, Belgium, the “Vase & Leuchte” (vase & light) by German designer Miriam Aust is a series of glass plant lights that amalgamates artificial with the natural to give an altogether new look to your interior. Combining the functions of a ceiling lamp with a vase, the lamps include a cylindrical barrier to circumscribe the light fixture, which provides a recess for the plants. Users can lower the hanging cables to water and nurture the plant with ease. Featuring an outer structure finished in glass, the vase light exhibits living roots of the plant to add a natural decorative element to your living room.
