The stunning Zenith concert hall in Strasbourg, France has reached completion and will be opened to performers and audiences soon. Designed by Massimiliano and Doriana Fuksas, the modular and well-balanced hall promises to deliver ideal facilities for everyone including good views for the audience, the best acoustics and an efficient cost management. The building itself is a single, unifying and autonomous structure with options of layering and rotating its metal façade. A translucent textile membrane underline the façade while covering the steel frame and functions as a giant projecting screen for announcements and light effects transforming the building into a magnificent light sculpture. The hall has a seating capacity of 12,000 and was built with an estimated cost of approximately 48m euro.
