Paying tribute to the 300 plus victims who lost their lives in disastrous 2009 L’Aquila earthquake in Italy, the Nothing Studio has come up with a “zero impact” architecture concept that is made in wood wrapped in a translucent membrane of fiberglass. Dubbed the “Church of the Resurrection,” the tent-like structure by the Italian design studio makes use of materials and construction methods with low technology, leaving minimal footprints on the environment. The Church of the Resurrection will open its gates by the end of this year.
