Clocks or timepieces offering a wide scope of experimentation seem to attract many a designers, nowadays. Yesterday we covered the Trace of Time, a clock that plans your day at work, and Oakley Stealth Watch that becomes a phone for text messaging, and today it’s time for yet another unique time piece that resembles a ball or globe. Named after “Eris,” the newly discovered and largest known dwarf planet in the Solar System, the spherical watch from Swiss manufacturer Pierre Junod can be worn as a pendant, a pocket watch and or even used as a small desk clock. Finished with anthracite anodized aluminum case with a curved mineral glass crystal, the Eris Planetary Sphere Watch includes white hand to show hours featured on the bottom hemisphere, while the orange hand indicate minutes depicted on the upper hemisphere. The watch will be available at Watchismo for $450.
