My acute addiction to coffee is possibly the only reason that deferred me from visiting space, as I wouldn’t be able to have my favorite brew due to the zero gravity. Jokes apart, designer Travis Baldwin, motivated by Don Pettit’s space sippy-cup, has popped up with an innovative coffee cup concept that holds liquid even in zero gravity conditions. Featuring a cross section, resembling an airplane wing, the On-Orbit Coffee Cup by the American designer creates a narrow angle that wicks the coffee up, so astronauts could also enjoy their favorite drinks (without using a straw) in space. With the On-Orbit Coffee Cup, now there will be one less excuse to evade your space trip.
