Remember Mayeul Walser, the designer of the Saab Fashionista and the Alpine Renaissance? If not, the student designer from CREAPOLE-ESDI in Paris has once again made his presence felt with a sports vehicle, but surprisingly for a off-road drive this time around. Called the “Lotus Esquive,” the sports vehicle is designed as a mild off-roader for the Russian market. Featuring windscreen/roof panels, which can be removed to open up the cabin and carbon fiber monocoque chassis, the sports buggy employs evasive intersecting lines that not only makes it lightweight and allows better handling but also confers smoothness and fluidity to the vehicle. Powered by a set of four electric motors developing a total of 260 hp (190 kW), the Lotus Esquive, other than four wheel drive, also allows four wheel steering for sharper cornering and to move swiftly across the Russian countryside.
