Inspired by urban vinyl toy culture, the “Bugplug” from Polish Ah&Oh Studio is an eco-gadget that saves electricity by taking care of your standby devices. Featuring built-in motion sensors on top of an antenna, the device detects your presence and turn on all the gadgets as soon as enter the room, while on the other hand, when you leave the place, all electrical appliances turns off via an individually programmed timer. Developed for the Greener Gadget Competition, the Bugplug includes a belly button adjustable timer that disconnects power after 0-6 (or up to 30) minutes in a motionless room, while the detachable power cord allows it to be used with a number of plugs.
