Chess has always been a mentally reinvigorating game. Known to improve concentration levels, it is a game of strategy, deceit, multiple plans, defense, attack and calculated risks. No other game offers so many things at one time.
Chess has always endorsed chess piece form and function based on traditional monarchist hierarchies. Some pieces have more value than the others. Pawns have the least value. But how about a new game that redefines all this? Enter Democratic Chess.
So what’s democratic chess? Well, it is a new flavor of the good old chess game. Which means the forms and functions of the chess pieces are re-interpreted. Democratic chess has a different set of rules. Which means the game will assume a different series of moves from the traditional series of moves. In Democratic Chess, no one kills pieces. Rather removed pieces can be combined to make new pieces. This means you need not worry if you lose the Queen piece. Because there would be plenty of opportunity to create one from the game. Democratic Chess gives a chance for anyone to win the game even from a hopelessly losing position, unlike traditional chess.
