Here’s a nice idea that could really bring kids to school for reasons other than socializing and planning sabotage attacks on teachers. The Flowlight Concept is a pen enabling the user to write and sketch in the air creating small plasma points that glow in mid-air, like a laser show.
By focusing a laser beam 100 times a second into a point in the space, a series of points create a continuous glowing line that looks like it’s dangling in mid-air. Even though this cross between a whiteboard and a laser pointer is just plain damn fantastic, after a point, I’m sure no amount of spectacle could make math interesting for the average student!
