Design Status:
Flup is a concept designed by Siddharth Kambe to function as a mobile oasis for desert travelers.
Insight:
Ever trapped in midst of vast stretches of sand dunes that seems to stretch beyond eternity, with no sight of oasis? Pray to God that you shouldn’t be caught in this kind of situation as Flup is still standing on a paper. The designer, Siddharth Kambe, has conceived this out-of-the-world vehicle that aims to conjure an aura of oasis for desert travelers. The highlight of this Martian vehicle is that it can jump over long distances via a hydraulic thruster fitted on its rear. Going by Siddharth’s explanation, I have understood that Flup feeds on the cacti and stores water that can be used to quench the thirst of desert travelers. It can also blow the sand off the travelers with a blower fitted on the front. Lastly, it can give temporary shelter (in the cockpit) to protect the travelers from extreme temperatures.
Usability:
Strictly limited to the desert regions, the Flup can be used to create an oasis ambiance for a short while to relieve exhausted travelers.
