Combining the shoot-and-simplicity with a foldout screen, designer Johan Loekito has come up with a unique handset concept that lets you record yourself with ease. Entitled the “Folio,” meaning the leaf of a book, the foldout screen of the device fits its moniker as etymologically. Featuring a convenient flip-out USB arm and HD video recording, the futuristic handset presents an iconic combination of form and function. In addition, the Folio allows wire sharing and uploading, via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, together with live broadcasting. Moreover, the compact device includes an accelerometer that detects when you rotate the device from portrait to landscape, and then automatically changes what you see onscreen.
