Gilda: Lamps made of Italian glass-tile

gilda

See the lamps above? Aren’t they pretty? I thought so. Gilda is a collection of signature Arturo Alvarez. Their specialty is that they use Italian Glass tiles to lend an innovative look to their lamps. And this one looks just that–innovative.

I particularly like the way the tiles hang from the strings. Gilda is available in two finishes : squares of white or black glass. I wish I could find a picture of the one with the black glass. I have a feeling it’s going to be more sophisticated and chic. In any case, the white tiled one looks rally trendy and would transform any living room. I believe the tiles would diffuse the light, so it’d make a cozy night-lamp too.

You have loads of options when you buy a Gilda. Other than whit and black tiles, you can treat yourself to the deluxe version, which incorporates applications square gold 24 carats. Wow, whatever is that going to look like! You also have a choice on the finishing-Shines and Waters. Also, depending on where you would like to sport it, you can choose among table, pie, implement and two sizes of hanging versions. Take your pick!
