Green U

‘Go Green’ is the new age mantra to help improve the condition our mother earth is presently in. Designers Andrew Volpe and Edd Theut wish to implement this thought in real life and, thus, they have crafted a community structure that comes enveloped with eco friendly traits. Dubbed as Green U, the green structure will help recycle, reuse and reduce for a better living.

Green U will be made from laminated bamboo and concrete, which will not harm the environment in any way. Bamboo will give the structure an eye-appealing and simple appearance. It will act as a shelter against rain and harsh sunrays. It can be used as a meeting point where people can seat and strike a conversation. Besides this, it will be used to dispose thrash and also recycle materials. Normally, people dispose waste without knowing what harm can be caused if it is not done in a correct way. But, this structure will help them learn embrace a better lifestyle.

Green U is an ingenious way to replace regular trash cans. The sustainable structure will make people more conscious about their surroundings. Materials made from paper, plastic and even metal can be easily recycled. This will help bring down heaps of garbage that keeps piling up and harms the environment. Green U will help communities wear a green badge and save the environment from further deterioration.
