Guerrilla Designers’ ‘Culebra Snake’ meets Ron Arad’s ‘Pizzakobra’!

It was a dream come true for the boys at Guerrilla Designers Collective. Their latest design received more than just recognition at the FAD. The Spaniards’ latest design, the Culebra Snake, ended up getting cozy with Ron Arad’s Pizzakobra.

The Culebra Snake is a solar LED light that features a full charge solar panel that allows 3 1/2 hours of max LED light power (20W conventional light). It can be used outdoors as well as indoors. The beauty of the Culebra lies in its ability to remain as agile and form-free as a snake. You can bend it as per your whims to get the desired shape.

For those who are blinking their eyes, I would like to explain that the Pizzakobra is Ron Arad’s latest design for iGuzzini. Its a highly-versatile concept of light that just refuses to adopt any sort of fixed form. It’s highly-flexible metal body lets it take any shape that fancies your brain. In a matter of seconds, the Pizzakobra can take form of a spiral light or a pizza-shaped lighting fixture.

So, it was a matter of utmost honour for the Guerrilla Designers to come up with a design of their own which is in no way inferior to Ron Arad’s Pizzakobra. And it was a moment to celebrate when the Culebra Snake shared the stage with Pizzakobra.

Finally, the Pizzakobra finds a perfect mate!
