Text what you are feeling, feel what you are texting is the motto of Guust Hilte’s tactile texting device. The gadget has been devised keeping in mind the difficulties faced by the blind in typing their messages using the phones sans all buttons. Hilte developed the design as a prototype under his Masters project at the Eindhoven University of Technology. The ingenuous design features gullies which can be traced to type messages and then simply sent without looking while on the move, whereas your phone may be lying on your desk or elsewhere. Hilte’s intends to integrate the device in the back of the phone, thereby using the space wasted for so long.
