Inspired by the primitive age tools, such as a piece of forged steel and a flint, used to light fire, designer Julien Bernard has developed a lighter concept that presents a precise fusion of the organic and the mineral materials. Entitled the “Magma,” the new lighter features a flint art containing a cedar fiber cord. As soon as the user opens the lighter, the gearing system produces a spark to ignite the cedar wick that burns slowly and produces a natural scent to enhance the flavor of a cigar or cigarette.
