Modularity is the beacon for all the furniture designers these days. Every design tries to incorporate versatility in some way or the other. Joining the ranks is Philippi Mambretti’s design for a session. Tagged “Virgola” or comma, the seat is neat and seems to be a perfect blend in the contemporary decors – both in public and private spaces. The original design can be placed in different positions alone, but the real functionality lies in Virgola’s ability to be turned into various forms. The former is accomplished by placing the chair sideways, arched down, or if desired, arched up. The latter is accomplished by joining together two or more Virgolas with the neat groove incorporated in the design itself. The white curvaceous beauty is a class apart and would sure be a great addition to your living room. Red one ain’t too bad either.
