Paul Cocksedge, UK’s famous prolific designer, has illuminated a window design for the Wellcome Trust that conveys the message in the simplest of forms. The window displays arms stretching and almost covering the whole length of the building. A unique material is used for the design that allows the light to pass through it and in between the light magically displays the veins and arteries of the hand by disappearing the skin covering of the arm. One of the hands point out towards the front door of the trust to show the public venue of the trust and the relationship between medicine and life, art and history.
Paul Cocksedge has so perfectly designed the window that passersby will be forced to think for a moment the purpose behind this trust. It is the need of the day to generate awareness among people regarding the importance of the trusts like Wellcome Trust. Euston Road is considered one of the busiest streets and an eye-catching design like this will definitely give a clear idea of the Wellcome Trust.
