Sculptor Jennifer Maestre would really take our readers by a stride for the bizarre art that she has created. Yes, you make at once vision these sculptures as some sea creatures but what would really surprise you is that they’re made of pencils. Jennifer’s bizarre but beautiful work is skillfully crafted from hundreds and hundreds of colored pencils, cut into one inch pieces, sharpened and then drilled through to become beads, and then sewn together using a peyote stitch.
