For reasons unknown, indoor herb planters have been designed to mimic all but the true nature of the plants grown. However, the Ramiform (meaning branchlike) by Danny Wray is an attempt to capture the wonderful forms of the plants themselves. Designed for the modern urbanity, which might lack the space for a full-sized outdoor herb garden, but would love to have the sense of growth, the urbanity herb garden is great for indoor plantation, as it runs on a rechargeable lithium-ion battery.
It features 15 LEDs that produce enough light to grow a number of herbs. A magnifying screen that invokes a pistyle of a plant amplifies the beams of light while focusing onto the base. Biodegradable seed inserts are placed in the base, so that the user can determine how many plants to grow. For cleanup, a pullout tray catches the water runoff for easy disposal. In short, the urbanity herb garden is a functional piece of art that one could be proud to have as a dining table centerpiece.
