Tackle tricky library seating with the Take A Seat

Dutch designer Jelte van Geest apparently had a hard time finding himself a suitable seat whenever he visited a public library. Instead of shooting an angry email to the mayor of his town, the Eindhoven Design Academy student came up with a more viable solution to the problem. Behold the “Take-A-Seat” chair. Fitted with an RFID card, the chair instantly recognizes your library card and follows you to your spot as you walk upto your fav section of the library. When you’re ready to sit down and ponder over your volume of choice, the chair will provide comfortable support for your tushie at the nearest table. Now that what I call personalize service! Watch the clever chair in action after the jump.
