German designers Jurgen Laub and Markus Jehs have unveiled their latest furniture concept for the year 2008. Cor’s “Cuvert” range features this rather blatantly angular sofa from the design team known as Jehs+Laub. Using basic angles in symmetry, the sofa integrates trapezoidal surfaces with sharp angles with the soft padded interior to present a cushy yet firm sitting surface. The range also features matching armchair, Coutable, Occasional table, Carpet and a stool which incorporate the same designer aesthetic. Overall the Cuvert promises to befit the modern living room with ease although the shade of the fabric could be made a little livelier.
