The ‘real’ Iron Man armor folds up into a briefcase

iron man mark v briefcase suit

Were you just left stunned with Tony Stark Iron man 2 act? Now, you can actually afford to be in his shoes. Ryan Brooks has made it a reality as he designs the Iron Man 2 Mark V briefcase armor. Hold on! This is just not a simple armor that you would find hanging in the market after release of any action film. The armor suit comprises of 4000 LEGO technic pieces, 384 individual armor parts, 4 paint coats, 145 magnets, Ardiuno Lilypad, glowing eyes, arc reactor and more than 1200 hours of designing.

The armor suit folds up into an amorphous briefcase. The armor stands differentiated from the one used in movie as it needs at least two helpers if it has to be worn. In the movie, though, a force field is created by the repulsors embedded in the armor and thereby, the armor just fits all parts of Stark’s body automatically. But then, that was animation and this is reality.

The hi tech armor was built with a thought of self-defense. It is also first of its kind. We have witnessed action movie inspired suits; however, not one with such detailing and technicalities.
