Featuring a flexible LCD display and flexible solar panels, the Tent is a unique learning tool created by CS Design Concepts that aims at aiding students studying away from the classroom environment. Though the concept mainly aims at helping students like environmental engineers or archeologists (who have to work in adverse and extreme environments) in communicating with instructors that live far off in major cities, it can also aid them in their on-site project work by getting essential feedback.
The flexible solar panels apply a charge to the memory metal structure which deploys the tent and allows it to remain erect. The same panels also power the flexible LCD screen allowing users to communicate with anyone around the globe.
When deactivated, the memory metal collapses and can be folded or jammed into a back pack and can be easily transported to any other location.
