Intended towards disaster relief camps, the Water Systems 200 from Swiss company Trunz is a water filtration system that needs no fuel sets and can be set up within 30 minutes only. Integrating solar panels, the sustainable water filter harnesses renewable energy to clean viruses and bacteria out of any non-saline water source and produce 900 liters of potable water in an hour, while the saltwater version (below) can filter 250 liters per hour only. In addition, the solar-powered device can be modified to run on wind power. The built-in batteries store adequate power to run it nonstop for 24 hours. Presenting a compact size, about 1.5 square meters, the magic box is easy to transport and install during calamities.
