A house without a door stands incomplete, and a beautiful house without an impressive door stands nowhere. The door wins the grace of overall building if it has the magic to drag you in, just like this Wave Door. Designed by Matharoo Associates for a diamond merchant in India, this door wins your heart with its amazing appearance. Standing 17 feet tall and five-and-a-half feet wide, the door is enhanced with 40 sections of Burmese teak carved into sinusoidal curve. Each of the section revolves around machinery unnoticeable, and its single pivot hides a counterweight, 80 ball bearings, and 160 pulleys. On pushing any of the planks, rest all 40 sections reconfigure to open into a sinusoidal curve, and makes a way into your dream world house.
