A room design such as this is highly superlative in the present context, but with the rate at which technology is evolving, this room could even belong to one of you some day. Dubbed the lotus and designed by a team at Zaha Hadid Architects, this is the design of a multi-utility room for the future. The lotus does justice to its name as it closes to make an enclosure perfect for secret agendas and unfolds it petals to enable socializing. It doesn’t just enclose the surrounding space as a mere cubicle, it is indeed a complete room with furniture and architecture tagged along. A fabulous design that shows how slick the world would be in the years to come, we just hope that global warming does not finish us before we see a world like that.
