b_80: Unicycle with enhanced portability

How could anyone not like a unicycle? The sight of a man trying to balance himself on the eccentric looking equipment is truly engaging. Unicycle by its very nature leaves little to be tinkered with and yet Mexican designer David Vargas wants to make a difference. His b_80 is a unicycle that wants to make popular this unique mode of transport. b_80 looks every bit the conventional ride but seeks to make difference in its design. By shifting the support point to directly below the center of the wheel, b_80 is easier to ride than the usual unicycles. And another important designing change is in terms of portability; this lightweight bike is foldable and ostensibly lighter. Bringing flexibility to the table, b_80 is designed as an effective means for transition between different modes of transportation. It seems cut out for the fast paced urban environment with less space for maneuvering. Another pic follows.
