Bangkok artist transforms metal junk into a drivable beast bike

Sci-fi Bike

Roongrojna Sangwongprisarn, an artist from Bangkok, Thailand, creates bikes that look straight out of sci-fi books with their enormous monster-like looks. One look at this bike – constructed out of old metallic components – and you are spell-bound as the two-wheeler looks like one from a Hollywood action flick, and has a villainous personality of its own. The bike hasn’t been named yet, but it does seem to have a close resemblance to the alien in the movie ‘Alien vs. Predator’ – may be that’s where the artist got inspire! This bike could give the Harleys and other custom-made bikes a nightmare with its super-cool and garish looks.

The 54-year old talented artist uses recycled part of old bikes and cars to create his exquisite art works. His latest creation, the monster-bike is totally drivable despite the heavy detailing and bulky body. The artist works in his workshop in Thailand to create novel sculptures out of scrap material and exports his unique creations for many clients world wide. He also owns four outlets by the name of the ‘Ko Art Shop’ across Thailand that showcase his masterpieces.

Creating craft out of junk requires extraordinary craftsmanship and is a very environmentally responsible form of art which this Thai artist has displayed with his beast-bike creation. The best part about this predator-like bike is that it is totally drivable, and will surely make heads turn in awe!
