Chiaroscuro PC case: Immortalizing Beijing Digital building

1 FvfvZ 58
Commemorating the marvelous Beijing Digital building, designer Nick Falzone has come up with an aesthetic design of a PC case that will bring the technical center of the 2008 Beijing Olympics inside your home. The Chiaroscuro PC case is finished with aluminum-lined wood and modeled on renders created by Gert Swolfs, the same designer who did the original renderings for the Beijing Digital building. The top section of the PC case will house the J&W Mini-ITX motherboard, AMD Radeon HD 4850 GPU, AMD Phenom X4 9350e CPU, OCZ So-DIMM DDR2 RAM and the Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 1TB hard drive. While a second layer, going under the original cube, has been added to enclose the DVD drive and a full size power supply to run the full size video card. If compared with the Beijing Digital building, the Chiaroscuro PC case is a wonderful display of functional art.
