Nootka Video Totem: Enhance the exposition experience

Nootka Video Totem

With the introduction of Nootka Video Totem, it is now possible to technically enhance your product showcase at an exposition. The Nootka Video Totem, fitted with FullHD video panels and directional speakers, it qualifies as a qualitative option for placing info points.

Nootka is presented with four vertical video panels measuring 1920x1080p with HD output. IT works on Linux and Quad core processor. The inclusion of a higher version of Freevo empowers the user to utilize a special and controllable playlist manager. To redress the audio complaints for locations where the A/V installation suffers quality due to non – acoustic ports, the Totem is fitted with directional speakers.

Moreover, the synchronized video element enhances the value of Totem. The synchronized video specifically helps the listeners as they get to hear a single clean track. The exposition needs exploration and this is exactly where the synchronized video helps. When a viewer shifts from one room to another to explore and has seen the first part in the info points placed earlier, the next room info point video would automatically start up with the second part. Thereby, the spectator continues watching a documentary through the exposition in one clear track.

The high HD quality video screens also comprise of a countdown system. If the video has not started at the info point screen, the screen counts the number of seconds after which the video would be displayed. This keeps the viewers hooked.

The group of designers namely- Francesco Maffei, Antonio Glessi and Marco Rufino, Marco Foresti, Giovanni Baldini and Alessio Moretti- conceptualized the idea based on the conditions existing in Italy for organizing exposition. Made from fireproof wood and strong electric component set, Nootka Totem is a safe, technically sound and experience enriching info point option.
