Student from Middle East Technical University designs Miracle Chair

chilte multifunction furniture

Human brain truly has immense power concealed in its folds. Gözde Elbeyli, a student from the Middle East Technical University of Turkey has shown a glimpse of a constructive use of this power. Elbeyli has designed a unique chair in collaboration with an Industrial Design firm named Casa Mobilya. The name allotted to this chair is just unique as the product, Chilte.

The design of the chair provides a solution to the problem of space constraints. It is a multipurpose furniture that caters to various requirements, yet bunched up into a small, cozy lifestyle article. It serves the utilities of an armchair, a coffee table, a footrest and a single bed. Amazing as it is, it is an addition to the purchase list of people staying in studio flats as a cool option.

This furniture sounds so different due to the cushioning material that is used in it. The mattress that the chair uses is made of a special foam, called High Resilience Foam, which contributes a stiff differentiation to the product. This feature, combined with its multi-utility function, makes Chilte an absolutely distinguished lifestyle product.
