And to counter the water problem, we’ll not only have to check the wastage of water but also will have to find new ways of producing and purifying water. Making a mark in water purification technology, the UK-based Cleanworld Ltd. company has designed a water-generating machine that literally plucks water out of the thin air. Dubbed the “RainCloud C-15,” the stand-alone dehumidifier incorporates a water purification system that purifies water (often dumped down the sink) for consumption. The RainCloud C-15 producing both hot and cold water comes with the maximum capacity of 15 liters, which is sufficient for a small family or office. Obviously, this kind of innovation is going to come at a price – and that price is around $1,000.
